COUTEAUX CORSES · ARTISANAL CUTLERY

A story of material.

Since 2011, Couteaux Corses has been selecting artisanal knives made in Corsica. Identified creators, individually photographed items, and detailed characteristics to choose while understanding.

The detail makes the difference.

Two knives can share a model name while presenting differences in shape, dimensions, and material. Since 2011, Corsican Knives highlights handcrafted pieces made in Corsica, with an identified creator. The photography and descriptive sheet allow for examining the actual knife offered rather than a simple model image.

To understand a piece, gather multiple pieces of information: the steel of the blade, the material of the handle, the dimensions and the indicated assembly. The ram's horn and carbon damask of the creations by Manu Padovani illustrated on this page are precise characteristics of these knives. They should not be extended to the entire selection of the brand.

The creatorAn identified artisan in the presentation of the item.
The bladeThe steel and dimensions specified in the sheet.
The handleThe materials indicated for each knife.
The assemblyThe type of knife, its assembly or mechanism explained.

The models signed Couteaux Corses

The brand also develops its own models. U PAISANU and U SIMPLICE are presented as the first expressions of this approach: knives designed and signed by the brand, made in Corsica. Their presentation and announcements of availability can be found on the official website.

Take the time to get to know your knife.

To extend the discovery, the Couteaux Corses website brings together presentations of artisans, item sheets, and pages of advice on choosing and maintaining. Before making a decision, check the dimensions, assembly, and materials of the knife in question. For a question about a photographed item, provide its reference or the link to its sheet on the brand's website.
